Infrared Space Observatory (ISO)

From end 1995 until April 1998, the Infrared Space Observatory ISO has been gathering spectroscopic data in the infrared. One of the instruments for ISO was built by SRON: the Short Wavelength Spectrometer (SWS), in collaboration with MPE-Garching and KU-Leuven. Although the satellite is not operational any more, due to the fact that it ran out of helium coolant, all its observations are now publicly available. The SWS observations are all in DIDAC.

Organization

The ISO project is headed by Dr. Th. de Graauw (PI) and Dr. P.R. Roelfsema (projectleader).
